ISA Yachts, an Italian luxury yacht manufacturer, was established in 2001 with a specialized focus on the burgeoning custom superyacht sector. Located in Ancona, along Italy’s Adriatic Coast, the company has carved out a significant niche in the market, delivering 28 customized megayachts within its first 12 years. In addition to its main shipyard in Ancona, ISA Yachts operates under the umbrella of Palumbo Superyachts, which also owns brands like Columbus, Mondomarine, and Extra. The shipbuilding group’s reach extends beyond Italy, with five strategically located shipyards in the Mediterranean—including Napoli, Malta, Savona, and Marsiglia—and a service point in Guadeloupe for the American continent. The Ancona facility itself is expansive, covering 35,000 square meters and including state-of-the-art industrial buildings, a research and development department, and a dedicated showroom.
When it comes to design and craftsmanship, ISA Yachts merges tradition with innovation, offering a range of vessels built from steel, aluminum, and fibreglass. Every yacht is a singular vision, tailored to the individual preferences of its owner, and featuring high-quality materials, furnishings, and finishes. Notable series like Granturismo have showcased the company’s flair for both exterior and interior luxury design. For instance, the 66.4-meter superyacht OKTO was designed in collaboration with the late Alberto Pinto, a celebrated interior designer. Another distinctive creation, the 54-meter Forever One, featured a revolutionary reverse bow designed by Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design, along with a four-deck glass elevator. The Ancona showroom serves as a design hub where clients can visualize their projects, select materials and furnishings, and even simulate yacht cabins and spaces.
Several groundbreaking projects have brought recognition to ISA Yachts. The most prominent among these is the Granturismo 66.4-meter superyacht OKTO, delivered in the spring of 2014. Its standout features include a luxury interior crafted by Alberto Pinto and an advanced marine engineering setup. Another remarkable vessel is the 54-meter Forever One, delivered the same year, which highlighted the shipbuilder’s versatility through its avant-garde design. For those seeking something different, the brand also launched Extra, a new line aimed at accommodating a broader range of owner tastes without compromising on the quality and excellence that have become synonymous with ISA Yachts. With its commitment to custom luxury, design innovation, and quality, ISA Yachts has not only met the exacting demands of superyacht owners but has also significantly raised the bar in the industry.
