Reymond Langton Design Ltd.
Reymond Langton Design Ltd. is a distinguished superyacht design studio established in 2001 by Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton, two seasoned designers with over a decade of experience each in the superyacht industry before founding the firm. Reymond, originally from France, holds a Masters degree in Art History from La Sorbonne and additional diplomas in interior and 3D design from institutions like Chelsea College of Art and Kingston University. Langton, on the other hand, specialized in Transport Design. In 2002, Jason Macaree joined as a director, further enriching the creative powerhouse. The unique blend of their educational and professional backgrounds allows the studio to offer an extraordinary range of design services, demonstrating their commitment to not just meeting but exceeding client expectations in both creativity and functionality.
The design style of Reymond Langton is as varied as it is exquisite, marked by a remarkable flexibility in both interior and exterior superyacht designs. With specialties ranging from room layouts to full project support during building, they bring an eclectic flair to their projects, drawing inspiration from modern architecture, works of art, feature films, and most importantly, their clients. Customers often provide extraordinary ideas that the team molds into unique projects. Their versatility also extends to collaborative work with leading shipyards to develop yachts with innovative features, such as the 63-metre luxury yacht developed in partnership with Abeking & Rasmussen using the ultra-stable Abeking SWATH hull platform. They have won several prestigious awards, including a ShowBoats Design Award for the 40-metre Hakvoort Apostrophe and a World Superyacht Award for yacht Mogambo.
The portfolio of Reymond Langton is adorned with several remarkable projects that serve as industry benchmarks. One such project is their interior design for the 134-metre Fincantieri superyacht Serene, which stands as their most significant interior design to date and is ranked eleventh in the Top 100 Largest Yachts list. Their work also graces the 91-metre Orchid, the 94-metre Lürssen Global, and the Nobiskrug yacht Mogambo, among others. The year 2004 marked a turning point for the studio with the addition of two 68-metre projects for Lurssen and Abeking & Rasmussen, later known as Kismet and Aviva. Their clientele includes shipyard giants like Lurssen, Heesen, Oceanco, and Feadship. All in all, Reymond Langton Design Ltd. manifests a blend of passion, creativity, and dedication that makes them an industry leader in superyacht design.
